Privacy policy

CÔNG TY TNHH VN GOOD CAR (GoodCar Việt Nam, “we”) respects and protects the personal data of its customers. This policy explains what data we collect through this website, why we use it, where and how long we keep it, and what rights you have, in line with Vietnamese law on personal data protection and e-commerce.

2. Data we collect

  • When you send a quote or contact form: your name, phone number, email (if you enter it), trip details (trip type, pick-up and drop-off points, date, vehicle, number of passengers, service of interest, your message).
  • When you subscribe to our newsletter: your email address.
  • When you call us or message us on Zalo or Messenger: the information you choose to share in the conversation.
  • Technical details sent with each form: time of sending, language and the page you sent it from.
  • When you sign a transport contract, we may need further details required by transport and invoicing rules (for example a passenger list or invoicing details), and we will tell you why when we ask.

This website does not ask for ID card, passport or payment card details. Please do not send them through the forms.

3. How we use your data

  • To prepare quotes, advise you and answer your requests.
  • To arrange vehicles and drivers and carry out your trip or contract.
  • To look after customers and handle feedback and complaints.
  • To send newsletters and offers, only if you subscribe; you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To meet our legal obligations (invoicing, accounting, transport rules, requests from competent authorities).

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

4. Where your data is kept and who can see it

  • Our company email inbox, which receives form submissions.
  • Our company Google Sheets spreadsheet used to track requests (when connected). Google may store data on servers outside Vietnam.
  • Our sales, dispatch and accounting staff: only the data they need. Drivers and transport partners carrying out the trip: only the name, phone number, pick-up point and time of the trip assigned to them.
  • Our hosting, email and software providers: only to run our services, under a duty of confidentiality.
  • Competent state authorities: when required by law.
  • We call you back or message you on Zalo at the phone number you gave us to send your quote. When you tap the Zalo button on our website, the conversation takes place in the Zalo app, under Zalo’s own policy.

5. How long we keep your data

  • Quote and contact requests that do not lead to a contract: up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted.
  • Data linked to contracts and invoices: for the retention period required by accounting and tax law.
  • Newsletter email addresses: until you unsubscribe.

6. Your rights

Under Vietnamese personal data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Be informed about the processing of your data.
  • Give or refuse consent, and withdraw your consent.
  • Access your data, ask us to correct it and receive a copy.
  • Ask us to delete your data or restrict its processing, and object to its use for marketing.
  • Complain, report, take legal action and claim compensation as provided by law.

To exercise these rights, contact our hotline 0905 316 516 or email support@goodcarvietnam.vn. We will confirm within 2 working days and act within the time limits set by law. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before, but we may no longer be able to serve a request that needs that data.

7. Cookies and third-party content

  • The website may use a cookie to remember the language you chose.
  • Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts; the Contact page shows a Google Maps map; the Home page may show our Facebook page; YouTube videos load only when you press play. These services may record your IP address and set cookies under their own policies.
  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

8. Data security

The website uses an encrypted connection (https). Access to our mailbox, spreadsheet and admin area is limited to staff who need it and protected by passwords. If a data breach occurs, we will remedy it and give notice as required by law.

9. Children

If you are under 16, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us on your behalf.

10. Changes to this policy
